Depression
You’re Barely Getting Through the Day
You get up, go to work, take care of your family, and meet your responsibilities.
But underneath it all, you’re exhausted.
It feels like too much, and you wonder how long you can keep going.
Even simple tasks feel overwhelming.
The things you used to enjoy don’t bring the same fulfillment or fun.
And it’s becoming harder to remember what it feels like to look forward to tomorrow.
Getting out of bed feels like climbing Mt. Everest.
And some days, you don’t.

It’s More Than Feeling Sad
Your motivation has disappeared.
You find yourself withdrawing from the people you care about, questioning your worth, and wondering if things will ever get better.
If this sounds familiar, you’re not alone.
Depression makes you believe this is simply who you are now.
The good news is that depression is highly treatable.
And you don’t have to face it by yourself.
Changing Your Thoughts and Behaviors
Processing out loud what you’re going through has value, and I’ll provide space for that.
But I believe it’s not enough.
That’s why I use cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), one of the most well-researched and effective treatments for depression.
Our thoughts, feelings, and behaviors are connected.
Think of a triangle with thoughts, feelings, and behaviors at each of the three points, with arrows running both ways between them all.
Rather than simply talking about your problems, CBT helps you learn new ways of thinking and behaving.
Which, in turn, changes how you feel.
Together, we’ll identify automatic negative thoughts (we’ll call them ANTs for short!) and the longstanding, underlying core beliefs contributing to your depressed mood.

We’ll also build realistic, manageable strategies to help you:
- Challenge negative thinking patterns
- Reduce negative self-talk
- Increase motivation one step at a time
- Re-engage in activities that bring purpose and enjoyment
- Develop healthy coping skills
Depression Changes the Way You Think, Feel, and Live
Depression is much more than sadness.
It affects your relationships, your productivity, the way you see yourself and the world around you, and even your physical health.
This is what depression looks like:
- Persistent sadness, emptiness, or numbness
- Loss of interest in activities you once enjoyed
- Constant fatigue, even after resting
- Feelings of guilt, shame, or worthlessness
- Difficulty concentrating or making decisions
- Changes in sleep or appetite
- Increased irritability or frustration
- A harsh inner voice that tells you you’re not enough
Depression leads to a cycle that’s difficult to break.
The more depressed you feel, the more you withdraw.
The more you withdraw, the more isolated and hopeless you feel.
Therapy That Meets You Where You Are
Whether depression has been a constant companion for years, or you’ve recently gone through a stressful experience and this low mood is new to you, therapy helps.
Our sessions are collaborative, supportive, and practical.
You’ll have a space to be honest about what you’re experiencing, without judgment.
And you’ll learn skills you can apply outside of therapy.
With the right support, it’s possible to feel more like yourself again: to experience joy, reconnect with the people and activities you care about, and move through life with greater hope and confidence.
It’s Time to Reach Out!
